Batmobile replica based on the 1985 Chevrolet Corvette for sale
It’s music to the ears of all Batman fans as a replica of the 1985 Batmobile built in Pittsburgh, Pa., Went on sale on AutoHunter. Assembled in 2019, the bespoke superhero vehicle had the 1985 Chevrolet The foundation of the Corvette with a fully customized and modified design with a revised front fascia, a fully reworked rear inspired by the jet propellant, rear spoilers and new glass. The restoration of the Batmobile
Built around the basics of a 1985 Chevrolet Corvette C4, the 1966 Batmobile replica is made by a restoration garage in Riverhead, New York, named Batrodz LLC, which specializes in custom hot rods. The bodywork includes rounded glass panels surrounding the cockpit, fender flares, a custom nose and rear spoilers.
In 2019, the characteristic glossy black and neon orange paint on the rust-free body of the car was repainted. , functional doors and a replacement exhaust system. The vehicle sports polished aluminum five-spoke wheels in new tires.
A well-maintained engine and breathtaking performance
The L98 350ci V8 engine delivers 230 hp and received Batmobile-themed accents. The vehicle is in perfect condition with the last service being done in late 2020. The car sports new parts such as a rear mounted 16 gallon aluminum fuel tank. The engine sends power to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission.
The iconic vehicle’s Batman aesthetic
The vehicle retains Corvette-derived equipment in the two-seater interior. Black vinyl bucket seats match the dashboard, door panels and carpet. The vehicle received some cosmetic upgrades to mimic the iconic vehicle. The Batmobile look is enhanced with an unusable accessory phone in an eye-catching neon orange hue, a steering logo, and a series of dash-mounted lights and buttons for the visual appeal of fans of the vintage vehicle. It also sports features such as a newer Pioneer AM / FM / CD head unit, center console with storage and a diamond plate trim panel on the passenger side.
It has a plethora of instruments such as a 6,000 rpm tachometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure and voltage, as well as a group digital with an 85 mph speedometer. Although the actual mileage on the chassis is unknown, the five-digit mechanical odometer reads 69,000 miles.
The seller has owned the vehicle for about three years and recommends it as a solid example of drive and function, retaining a largely original Corvette interior customized with accessories inspired by the TV show. The vehicle currently has a bid of $ 28,000. Filled with a black vinyl interior and finished in black with orange paint, this Batmobile C4 Corvette also offers service records, a clear Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name, and a CARFAX connection to the Batmobile itself.
