With all the hype surrounding Ford’s rebirth of the Bronco, “Music City Trucks” felt it was the perfect time to honor the vehicle’s heritage by building their own classic. The 1974 Bronco underwent major upgrades to restore the truck and take a modern approach to the classic platform. Upgrades included a new chassis, supercharged box engine, transfer case, axles, suspension, fuel system, sheet metal and an interior redesign with custom parts.
The rebuilt 1974 Ford Bronco will be auctioned off at a Mecum Auctions event in October and the proceeds will go to Warriors Heart, which provides private treatment to veterans seeking hospital treatment for issues related to post-stress disorder. traumatic injury (PTSD) and the psychological effects of mild head injury (MCI).
“The first generation Bronco 74 was completely rebuilt from the ground up, so having a high performance welder was essential for the project,” Garner said. “The fact that the Beach Cruiser Bronco is auctioned off and the proceeds are donated to such a wonderful organization as Warriors Heart made us want to be even more involved in the rebuilding.”
The CTR9 fully automatic welder comes with a new lightweight transformer gun. With its 355 degree swivel handle and ergonomic handle, it allows perfect working positions for anyone, for any job. The gun is supported by a durable and lightweight extruded aluminum telescopic arm that can be easily adjusted both vertically and horizontally.
