John ‘Lee’ Albright | Obituary
Walnut Cove, North Carolina
John “Lee” Albright, 74, loving father and doting grandfather, was released from his battle with Alzheimer’s disease in Walnut Cove, North Carolina on March 12, 2022.
Mr. Albright was born on December 12, 1947 in Bedford, Pennsylvania, the son of the late John Albright Jr. and Dora (Brown) Albright.
He is survived by his two daughters, Cassandra Chaney, wife of Kevin, of Bedford; and Lisa Riddle, wife of Scot, of Walnut Cove, NC; his two granddaughters, Peyton and Delaney Riddle; and a sister, Linda Atkinson, of Everett.
Lee enjoyed all motorsports, from go-karting as a child, to motorcycles, hot rods and any type of automotive restoration. His large number of friendships over the years were because of this love. He was part owner of A&D Suzuki Yamaha for over 20 years. Lee’s love of art and painting led him to open Albright’s Restoration in his home, restoring vintage, classic and modern vehicles.
Lee’s sense of humor was second to none, always laughing at himself, even when it was the hardest. His sense of humor and good humor will be missed by his family and friends.
A visitation will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday March 18, 2022, with a funeral service at 11 a.m. with Jim Miller officiating.
