More normal and fun times return to North Adams

As the pandemic comes to an end and our lives become more and more normal each day, it is a delight and a treat to see all of the upcoming events returning to North Adams for the summer. Here are the events you can look forward to attending with your friends and family.
On May 29, the 10th Annual Hoosac Harvest Seedling Exchange in person will be held from 10 a.m. to 1:23 p.m. 23 Eagle Street
The St. Anthony Farmers’ Market will be back every Saturday during the summer from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Concerts at Lake Windsor will take place every Wednesday starting June 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Every last Friday of the month there will be movies under the stars at Colgrove Park starting at dusk.
First Fridays will also be back, and like its name, it will be held on the first Friday of each month, at businesses in North Adams, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
On May 29, head to Mass Moca and enjoy Memorial Day weekend.
Steeple City Sounds Pop-ups on weekends from 06/18 to 06/20. Also this weekend is June 19 June 19.
One of my North Adams favorites is the 4th of July fireworks display, they’re back this year!
07/17 is the day without community in Mass Moca from 10 am to 6 pm.
BoAC Loud Weekend 7 / 30-31
National evening 4:00 p.m. 8/3
The Steeplecats are back in action with home games 6/5-7/30.
The Fresh Grass Festival is back in Mass Moca from 9/24 to 26/9.
Also in August there will be a celebration downtown, the date will be determined at a later date. The heart of downtown is closed to everything except pedestrian traffic. Bands, businesses, and organizations disseminate information, host contests and giveaways, while bands play everything from Dixieland to Rock and Roll. The streets are filled with delicious aromas as our local restaurants and vendors offer all kinds of delicious food. This event is fun for all ages.
These events have been postponed to 2022: MASS MoCA & Wilco’s Solid Sound Festival, Eagle Street Beach Party, North Adams Motorama Car Show. We look forward to seeing you there in 2022!
