Quinlan Court in Davenport will have a grand opening this Saturday
A brand new event space opens in Davenport. Its name is Quinlan Court and it will host its very first event this Saturday, Mercado en el Río, which is also the first time this event has taken place.
For some time now, the City of Davenport has been working on the construction of a new outdoor event space in the city center. Quinlan Court is finally finished and the City of Davenport is ready to use it and the grand opening is this Saturday.
Located between Brady Street and Perry Street on River DriQuinlan Court, is a flexible event space that can be used in a number of ways. Quinlan Court has space for 66 vendor tents, 15 food trucks or 66 parking spaces. For nighttime events, there is programmable lighting, and for events with live music, there is a temporary stage option.
The City of Davenport is hosting the grand opening of Quinlan Court this Saturday June 12th. The ribbon cutting will take place at 5 p.m. After the ribbon cutting, the very first Mercado en el Río (river market) will take place from 5 to 9 p.m.
Mercado en el Río is an outdoor event featuring food trucks, vendors, shows and educational activities for children.
Mercado en el Río will take place on the second Saturday of each month throughout the summer at Quinlan Court. The last Mercado en el Río will take place on Saturday, October 9.
Saturday night should be a perfect night for the opening of Quinlan Court. The forecast for Saturday, according to the National Quad Cities Weather Service is:
