Woodward Dream Cruise is on the road again for 2021

The Ford Motor Company is making sure one of Michigan’s biggest summer events happens again this summer. After being canceled last year due to the pandemic, the Woodward Dream Cruise is back for 2021.
This year, in keeping with the excitement of the new Ford Bronco rolling off the assembly line right here in Michigan, the original 1966 Ford Bronco is the flagship heritage vehicle when things kick off Saturday, August 21.
“Woodward is our hometown celebration, commemorating the best of what we do and what we assemble – right here in Motor City,” said Rob Johnston, Ford Performance Marketing Director in a press release. “It’s fitting that this year’s Dream Cruise honors the original Bronco at a time when the all-new Michigan-built Bronco is slipping off the line.”
This will be the 26th year of the Woodward Dream Cruise and the 4th year that Ford will sponsor the event. Each year, the Woodward Dream Cruise attracts over 1.5 million people and over 40,000 cars from around the world. It’s become a summer staple in Michigan.

Cruise in the statement. “Ford has always been instrumental in making cruising stronger, more engaging, more culturally relevant and more valuable to the Detroit area, and we are extremely grateful for that. “
In addition to showcasing old and new Broncos, Ford will be showcasing some of the automotive industry’s newest and newest vehicles, including the all-new 2021 Mustang Mach-E GT all-electric SUV, the 2022 all-electric Ford F-150 Lighting and the recently unveiled Ford Maverick compact pickup, which is America’s first standard full hybrid pickup.
